Embark on a culinary adventure with Cara, right from the comfort of your kitchen, as she shares a delicious and creative new recipe!

This month, join Cara in creating a festive holiday snack board showcasing the beloved Muhammara Dip – a perfect crowd-pleaser for your celebrations! (Or to enjoy all to yourself 😏) This is naturally a vegan & gluten free recipe that everyone I know LOVES! 

Tools you may need

  • Oven/toaster oven
  • Blender/Food Processor 
  • Cutting Board & Knife 
  • Serving plate/platter/board

Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 red peppers 
  • 1 cup walnuts or almonds
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil 
  • *Optional (hard-to-find) ingredients - 1/2 tsp ground sumac, 1tbsp pomegranate molasses (can be replaced with balsamic glaze) 
  • *Optional toppings - sesame seeds, balsamic glaze

Muhammara Dip is the star of the snack board show & you get to decide what else you'd like to add! 

I will often pair this dip with a crudités plate of beautiful veggies. 

Here are some of my favorite optional additions:

  • Crudités veggies- carrots, watermelon radishes, snap peas, red peppers, green beans, cauliflower
  • crackers
  • pickled veggies
  • olives
  • smoked meats 
  • cheeses
