at a private, peaceful, and serene home. The natural spring water is 72 degrees providing a year-round magical experience for snorkeling, swimming, or paddling -- As well as providing a warm home to Manatees during this time of year. There are several unique springs we will visit during our stay. Our thoughtful Vegetarian & Vegan meals will be created on site with a private Holistic Chef. I've never paddled before- Is that ok?No worries! Our experienced retreat leaders are happy to teach beginners, and our paddle conditions will be great for those that are new to paddling. By the end of our retreat you are sure to be a confident paddler!

Can I bring my own vessel?You sure can! We will be providing paddleboards for each of our guests but you are more than welcome to bring your own paddleboard or kayak. We will be confirming vessel options with each guest prior to the retreat. During the retreat, we will have a trailer to shuttle/transport vessels.

What are the arrival and departure times?Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 5:30pm (or as late as needed) on Friday, November 3rd. We will be hosting a delicious welcome dinner at 7pm. Our planned departure is Sunday, November 3rd with a late check out time of 3:30pm. If you need to leave earlier or later on Sunday, just let us know!

Where is the retreat hosted?The retreat will be hosted at a lovely river house located in the heart of springs country. (The exact location of the Retreat House will be provided the week prior to the event.)

What are the accommodations?Registration includes shared accommodations. You'll be in your own very comfortable bed sharing a spacious room with several people that we will mindfully pair you with. If you plan to come with a friend, we'll make sure you're in the same room!

What meals will be provided?We will enjoy delicious and nourishing meals each day starting with dinner on arrival day. On Saturday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided. On Sunday, (departure day) breakfast will be provided. Meals will be thoughtfully prepared in house & we always use the freshest, organic, and local ingredients possible. We're happy to meet dietary needs or requests with advanced notice.

What transportation is required?You will need to provide your own transportation to and from our Retreat House on the Ichetucknee River. We encourage car-pooling and will try to coordinate car-pooling for you if desired. During the retreat, we will also encourage car-pooling to our adventure destinations.

What do I need to bring?Please be on the lookout for a pre-retreat welcome email containing packing information & more!

What will the weather be like?Historically temperatures range from the high 70's to mid 80's during the day with slightly cooler temps in the mornings and evenings this time of year. We will be spending a fair amount of time outside as well as on/in the water so please pack accordingly. Also please be prepared for the chance of random Florida rain!

What is your refund/cancellation policy?We strongly recommend that you purchase a cancellation/travel insurance policy to protect your investment. insuremytrip.com is a company that has a multitude of policies to choose from, including a “cancel for any reason” rider option. (There are many other companies offering similar options.) Typically, trip insurance must be purchased the same time you register for the retreat. *Any cancellations on or before October 16th, 2023 will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee. *Any cancellations received after October 16th, 2023 will forfeit any refund. *$100 Deposit is non-refundable.

Hi! My name is Cara Edwards and I'm beyond excited to be sharing this dream of a retreat with you. I'm taking us to my homeland where I was privileged to grow up steeped in breathtaking nature, spirituality, and a strong healing community. I'm pulling together my favorite people, favorite places, and ALL of the Self Care tools I have for this retreat. I'll be guiding us through daily Meditation, Yoga, Paddleboard Yoga, medicine making, day outing adventures, and basically be there for any support needed along the way. I absolutely cannot wait to tell stories around a campfire, share my top vegan recipes with you in the kitchen, take to you to the sacred places that sparked my spiritual journey, and create connections to last a lifetime. It is my intention to meet your individual needs with a compassionate heart, teach you invaluable self care practices to take home, and do everything I can to make this retreat a dream come true for you, too.

Ms. Brianna Adele Schiavoni (LCSW, LISW, CCYT, YTT200) is a licensed clinical social worker, experienced coach, children's yoga instructor, & nia white belt. Born & raised in N.Central Florida by a school psychologist & park ranger, she delights in facilitating programs to enhance health & wellness with use of our innate human creativity & the world's natural elements. She is thrilled to collaborate with a longtime friend & colleague by lending tools from narrative therapy, mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR), Nonviolent Communication practices & Nia - a sensory based movement art form; to enrich this retreat. Brianna is the creative director & sole proprietor at Mindful Milestones, llc - serving all ages in both Florida & Ohio. Selina Gould, Licensed Massage Therapist
Selina Gould, Licensed Massage Therapist, has been perfecting her craft of massage over the past 7 years. Selina is born and raised in N.Central Florida, trained at the Florida School of Massage, now living on the West Coast in Oregon. She is so happy to join in on this heartfelt adventure, with old friends and new, offering each participant an hour therapeutic massage. Selina's massage sessions are a special treat while traveling! Utilizing modalities such as Swedish Massage, connective tissue therapy, neuromuscular therapy, and stretching/range of motion techniques, she creates bodywork sessions that are both therapeutic and deeply relaxing. She makes it a priority to listen fully to her clients in order to construct personalized treatment that effectively addresses each clients specific needs. She loves to learn and continues to deepen her understanding of the human body at every opportunity. Selina is also a mom to her sweet and caring son, Neriah, who is always teaching her how to live a joyful life.

Hi! I'm Sofia Lo Coco. As a Holistic Chef it is my life's passion to harness the healing power of food. I'm passionate about teaching others to cook in a way that keeps the whole body in mind. I believe through choosing fresh, seasonal, and nutrient dense ingredients, we can create meals that fuel us through the day and keep us healthy throughout our lifetime. During this retreat, I will teach you what ingredients to choose and how they will benefit your mind and body. I'm also looking forward to leading several cooking classes giving you plenty of recipes to take home. With my training in cooking natural foods combined with my training in nutrition I can't wait to help you create a diet tailored to your needs, so you can truly feel your best - body, mind, and heart.
